It’s been a while since I have posted anything here (Insert obligatory “I’ve been busy” phrase here). But the fact is, there has been a lot of changes in my career/ life and I have let this blog fall to the side as a result.
In spite of that, I’m back! And I wanted to outline what things you should expect to see from me in the future!
I’ve been starting to learn the basics of penetration testing and expect that once I’ve gained access into popular VulnHub VMs or HackTheBox machine, I’ll post my write-ups here. Documenting how you were able to compromise a system is an integral part of being a professional penetration tester, so posting my write-ups here will allow me to gain practice in writing them while sharing with you interesting exploits or recon methods!
Career Opinions/ Observations:
Although I’ve gained a little experience in this field in the last few years, I’m still new to many facets of this industry. I believe that this gives me a unique view of news, events and general happenings in InfoSec/ Cyber Security. There are plenty of experts that push several ways to obtain their opinions on the topics of the day, but if you’d like to hear the same items viewed from a different, more inquisitive view, look no further.
But wait, there’s more!
In addition to the blog, I will also be active on Twitter (@InfoSecTyler) where you can find me posting about everything from exploit methods to German Soccer (Where my Bayern fans at?).
If you’ve made it this far, thank you. Whether this is your first time on the site or you are one of my few regulars. I really appreciate the ability to share whatever knowledge I can and hope that in the time to come, we can all learn from each other!
